The following visualization compares traffic sensor data on the Bay Bridge the week of the July BART strike with a visual average of the 2 weeks before and after the strike.

The map shows where each sensor is located. Sliding the yellow bar will calculate average flow and occupancy during the highlighted time period of the strike, and calculate an average for the other weeks.

The bar charts have their to the flow which is the number of cars that cross the sensors in an hour.
The color comes from a scale to show occupancy, where occupancy is the percentage of time that a car is on top of it. The threshold for high occupancy is 30%.
